Remote Emergency Medical Technician - Diving (REMT-D)

The Diver Medic Technician course trains participants to administer advanced medical aid and life support skills for the management and treatment of diving casualties while at pressure and during saturation diving operations. DDRC is a hyperbaric medical centre, undertaking daily compressions in hyperbaric chambers.

The 5 day refresher course is open to those who already hold a valid DMT Certificate and enables renewal in line with IMCA's requirements for re-certification every 2 years. DDRC is a hyperbaric medical centre, undertaking daily compressions in hyperbaric chambers.

The Chamber Operator course is designed to introduce participants to the design, function and operation of hyperbaric chambers. It will enable individuals to safely operate chambers for therapeutic treatments and research purposes. The standard course duration is 5 days but each course is individually tailored to meet client requirements including international accreditation. Prices of Chamber Operator courses start from £840.00 (including VAT). The Basic Hyperbaric Medicine course serves as an introduction to hyperbaric oxygen therapy with a view to understanding the benefits and risks of HBO and conducting safe and efficient patient treatments under pressure. This course is an approved First Aid at Work course in accordance with the Health and Safety Regulations 1981. All courses can include additional skills such as Paediatric First Aid, Oxygen Administration, use of Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Hazardous Marine life Injuries. Courses can be tailored to individual, local and company requirements.

One day Emergency First Aid at Work

This course is for candidates whose FAW certificate is about to expire or has already expired but is within 28 days of the expiry date.

This is a Health & Safety Executive approved 4-day course that complies with the Offshore Installations and Pipeline Works (First Aid) Regulations 1989. Offshore personnel are trained to a standard where they can administer basic First Aid on their own and provide assistance to the Offshore Medic when necessary.

The course offers an overview of all subjects taught on the 4-day Offshore First Aid course and also introduces any new techniques, legislation or guidelines that have arisen since the delegate originally qualified.

A half day refresher in First Aid.

e-ILS is a flexible way of learning skills in Immediate Life Support, and blends e-learning with face-to-face workshops. An e-ILS course provides a variety of skills, from managing a deteriorating patient, identifying causes and treating cardiac arrest, to improving abilities as both a team member and leader.
