The Diver Medic Technician course trains participants to administer advanced medical aid and life support skills for the management and treatment of diving casualties while at pressure and during saturation diving operations.This course is delivered at the Royal Thai Navy Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand.

No prior knowledge or experience is needed, a reasonable standard of First Aid is required to pass the course and a basic knowledge of diving and physics and human biology would be helpful.
You must have a current DMT certificate. Within the final three months of validity on completion of a refresher course, the validity date of the new certificate will run for a further two years from the expiry date of the old certificate. For up to eight weeks after the expiry of a certificate, on completion of a refresher course, the validity date of the new certificate will run for a further two years from the expiry date of the old certificate. The additional eight weeks allow for unforeseen circumstances that prevent a refresher course being undertaken during the final three months of a certificate's validity. After eight weeks following expiry of a certificate, the full course should be undertaken again.
